PRP / GFC Therapy

Treating hair loss at an early stage is crucial to getting the best results.

There are many treatments out there for hairloss.

Most common and effective treatment is PRP HAIR GROWTH TREATMENT and GFC (Growth Factor Concentrate) treatment.

What is PRP hair growth treatment?

PRP injections use patient’s own platelets to rejuvenate and heal their health issues.

With regards to hair loss treatment, PRP injections (platelet-rich plasma) get injected into the patient’s scalp.

This is done to promote hair growth and prevent the miniaturization of the hair follicle.

The PRP hair loss injections spread growth factors to the affected parts of the body to accelerate the healing process.

BENEFITS OF PRP

  • Prevents further hair loss
  • Promotes denser and healthier hair
  • Stops miniaturization of the hair follicle
  • Plumps up the follicle for a hair transplant procedure

Procedure is painless / minimal pain with topical anesthesia

No downtime, you can resume your routine activities immediately after the procedure.

Method Of Preparing PRP

  • Blood is taken from your arm and put into a centrifuge machine
  • First spin separates RBC’s , WBC’S and Plasma
  • Then the plasma is collected and put in centrifuge for second spin.
  • After second spin, a platelet bead is formed at the base, which is suspended in the top 1/4th plasma to form PRP/ LIQUID GOLD
  • The platelet-rich plasma is then re-injected back into the areas that are affected by hair loss

PRP post-treatment steps

  • Do not touch the treated areas for at least eight  hours

  • Do take the painkillers if needed

  • Avoid saunas for at least two days after treatment

  • Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated

How Much Time Is Needed For The Procedure

PRP for hair loss is not a time-consuming procedure.

On an average, it takes around 40- 60 minutes per patient .

Number Of Sessions Required

Minimum four to six sessions with a gap of four weeks between each session.

Maintenance sessions can be taken later on every 4-6 monthly.

Risks or side effects of hair PRP

Since the patient receives their own plasma, they are not at any risk for infection or allergy.

The side-effects are minor and usually involve very minor pain,  itching, and swelling at the treated spots.

This should fade in around one to two  days depending on how fast you normally heal.

  • at an early stage of hair loss.
  • great for both men and women with hairloss
  • androgenetic alopecia has great results with PRP
